Presenting at the conference

Guidelines for speakers, chairs and discussants

Chairs 
Prior to the start of the session the chair should make sure that all speakers and discussants have arrived and that presentations are loaded to the computer. Briefly introduce each speaker. Each presenter and discussant has a maximum of 10 minutes; please make sure that the session runs according to the schedule; sessions should not be extended into the breaks.

Discussants 
Please check the programme carefully as you may have been assigned papers to discuss at the conference. On a rule, one discussant has been asked to discuss two papers (altogether max. 10 min) or in some cases one paper (max. 5 minutes). Please make sure you arrive in good time before the session and introduce yourself to the chair and the speakers. Please leave time for audience participation. 

Papers 
Papers should be no longer than 16 pages (font size 12, single-spaced) including tables and references. Full papers should be sent to no later than 17.08.2015.

Presenting papers at the conference 
Papers will be pre-circulated among the participants before the conference. Please arrive in good time before your session, introduce yourself to the chair and upload your presentation to the computer. Paper presentations should be no longer than 10 minutes. Please be considerate of the other speakers and do not exceed your time slot. Presentations are followed by comments from assigned discussants and by general audience participation.

Posters 
Poster size: Height max. 117 cm, width max. 97 cm.

- Posters can be made in several graphics programs, for instance Microsoft Office PowerPoint or Word. 

Presenting posters at the conference 
Posters will be presented at a poster session. Presentations should be no longer than 10 minutes. Please be considerate of the other speakers and do not exceed your time slot. Presentations are followed by comments and discussions by the audience.
