General Terms and Conditions of the KBS 2022 Symposium

Payment

The conference fee is payable by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro are accepted) or bank transfer to the following account:

FOR EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION RECEIPT OF PAYMENT IS DUE BY MARCH 27, 2022.

Important: KCPU is not a VAT payer – the net amount equals the gross amount. It also means that it is not possible to issue an invoice, instead you can receive a debit note.

Invitations letters

Foreigners needing a special invitation letter in order to obtain visas may request it from the Organizing Committee at least three months prior to the KBS 2022 Symposium.

Confirmation of registration

You will receive a confirmation of registration by e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail from the Organizing Committee of the KBS 2022 Symposium within a reasonable time, please send an e-mail to: .

Change of delegate

Substitutions of attendees can be made for a cost of 150 PLN.
Please inform the Organizing Committee of the KBS 2022 Symposium in writing, giving the name of the substitute by May 15, 2022.

Cancellations

Cancellations can be made in writing to the Organizing Committee of the KBS 2022Symposium by sending an e-mail to: .

 

Refunds

  • Until May 15, 2022: 50% (after bank expenses deduction)
  • After May 15, 2022: no refund

Refunds will be made after the KBS 2022 Symposium. If for reasons beyond the control of the Organizing Committee, the KBS 2022 Symposium is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred.

Liability

The contributors will be carefully selected and the KBS 2022 Symposium will be carefully prepared. The organizers of the KBS 2022 Symposium cannot accept liability for the up-to-datedness, correctness and completeness with respect to conference documentation and content, unless the damage is the direct consequence of an intentional act or gross negligence. Neither the organizers of the KBS 2022 Symposium will assume any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury to persons or property during the Symposium.

Disputes

All agreements between KBS 2022 organisers and the Other Party and all disputes which may arise between the Parties shall be exclusively subject to the Polish Law. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
